Ștefan Davidescu was one of the very few prisoners who, during detention, entered the first rooms that we have visited on this tour. During the time he was imprisoned in Pitești, the area was part of the administrative pavilion, where offices of the administration were located. The access in that area was strictly forbidden for detainees. We will find out in what circumstances Ștefan got to enter those rooms later on.

The basement area we are going to visit in the next few minutes was designed for showers, laundry rooms and other similar functions. In 1950, Ștefan Davidescu passed through these same rooms a few times.
